Do I pay before you build?
Yes. You pay $29.99 at checkout, your domain is registered in your name on the spot, and we build the site on it. If the first draft is not what you wanted, cancel inside 30 days and we refund the month. The domain stays yours.
When do I pay $29.99/mo?
At checkout, before we build. That first payment registers your domain in your name and starts hosting, maintenance, SSL and 1 hour of updates a month. Then it renews monthly until you cancel.
What do I get for $29.99/month?
A custom build in scope (typically up to about 5 pages, 2 revision rounds — see pricing), then hosting, maintenance, SSL, 1 hour of updates per calendar month via the request form (unused time does not roll over), and first-year domain registration in your name for a standard gTLD (like .com; premium/ccTLD may differ). After year 1, domain renewals are billed at cost. Extra pages, redesigns, and specialty work are paid add-ons.
When do I choose a domain?
At checkout. Check that the name is available, pay, and it is registered in your name within about a minute. Standard .com, .net and .org are included. Premium and country-code names are quoted separately. Already own a domain? Choose that option and we point it at the new site when you approve.
Who owns the domain if I register through you?
You do. Domains we register are in your name with privacy and auto-renew on. First year is included in the $29.99/mo plan for standard gTLDs; renewals after year 1 are billed at cost. Canceling the plan takes the site offline, but it does not forfeit your domain. You can keep renewing it or transfer it.
What happens if I cancel?
If you cancel the monthly fee, the website goes offline. Cancel anytime. Your OpenSRS-registered domain stays yours (keep or transfer). Ask about file handoff before you cancel if that matters.
Do you use AI to build the site?
Yes — AI-assisted. Faster drafts and layouts. The Thinglet team owns quality and the final site.

How do monthly updates work?
Active $29.99/mo subscribers get 1 hour of updates per calendar month by submitting the update request form — not unlimited. That covers content edits, image swaps, and small layout tweaks. Full redesigns, new e-commerce, and multi-hour builds are outside the hour and may be quoted separately. Unused time does not roll over to the next month.
